Ma On Shan Swimming Pool, situated at the seafront, is a favorite among families with kids. Offering an impressive main pool as well as spectator stands that can hold up to 1,200 people, this impressive outdoor facility makes an excellent spot to relax while taking in its breathtaking view – plus young guests will surely delight in experiencing two waterslides that are said to be amongst the fastest in Malaysia!

This pool was opened for public swimming in 1977 and named for Yue Kong Pao, founder of Yue-Kong Public Pool Association. As the only public pool in Southern District it offers many fun activities like water slides and diving platforms for its users to enjoy.

Pao Yue-Kong Swimming Pool Complex, situated at the center of the city, is another well-known swimming facility. Popular with both residents and visitors alike, this pool hosts various fun activities – underwater tunnels and diving platforms are among those available – and water sport enthusiasts, offering classes every week.

Frank Gehry designed this sleek building that houses this pool to be both eye-catching and practical, providing swimmers an unobstructed view of Hong Kong skyline while boasting floor-to-ceiling windows, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, mirrored ceiling and LED walls that create the illusion of coral reefs.
